  2. Match Wits
  3.  
  4. Here are five challenges that involve nothing more
  5. than a few mathches and a healthydose of ingenuity.
  6.  
  7. 1.) Can you pick up three matches all at once
  8.     with a fourth match.
  9.  
  10. 2.) Arrange 12  matches in the design shown below.
  11.     Can you remove two matches and leave only two squares?

  21. 3.) From the same starting position as in No. 2, can you make
  22.     seven squares by moving just two matches?
  23.  
  24. 4.) From the same starting arrangment, can you make three squares
  25.     of the same size by repositioning only three matches and not
  26.     taking any away?

  28. 5.) The challenge is to place ten matches on a tabletop in such
  29.     a way that you can lift them all with the use of just one other
  30.     match. Can you do it?

  37. The two pictures "WordPix-1.Iff" & WordPix-2.Iff" are a collection
  38. of small picture puzzles that you try and guess the hidden word or
  39. phrase. For Example, the word "man" written with the word "board" below
  40. it would translate as "Man Overboard"
